Six weeks after marrying Kristen, I found out I was going to be a dad.  Being the oldest of 13 children, I always felt happy and comfortable around kids and I even deeply loved my siblings. But I had no idea what forms of happiness, motivation and hope were coming to me on June 14, 2013. Knowing our son, Rowdy, has been one of the best parts of being alive.
